I am not going to be unpatriotic and bash the fine soldiers who are doing their job. I will say that those who are so "concerned" about a wall being built and accusing every person with a Spanish accent of "illegality" would be better served if the money poured into ANOTHER country was spent here.

1) That country is paying heavily for the building, by selling oil at "special prices" to certain companies.
2) A lot of the building is simply rebuilding of things that were wrongly destroyed.
3) "A country that wants us dead" is a gross generalization. Some do others don't.
4) "Every day we hear about troops being tortured and murdered". Ha! Wanna keep score? How many of them were tortured, murdered and RAPED by US troops and civilian advisers?
Bottom line, some one is gaining A LOT out of this. Clues: It isn't for security, in fact, if anything, it was turned into a God sent for Al QED recruiters. It certainly are not the troops that are gaining. Not the taxpayer. And most of all, not the people there. So the real question is: "who is profiting from the money misspent?"

Where is the outcry? Where have you been? Lots of people disagree with what is going on in Iraq... however more agree than disagree, which is why we are still there.
