Jesus said if the right eye offend the pluck it out and cast it from the it is better to go to heaven with one eye than to be cast into hell with two eyes where the worm never dies and the fire is not quinced. God bless kisses Betty

Colby h. why do you think you can decide Jesus didn't mean what he said. Others will argue he ment every word of what he said.

As soon as he woke from the operation, he'd have to pull the eyes out and toss them into the trash.

Betty,
God's grace is an amazing and powerful thing, never, ever under estimate it as many of our brothers and sisters do. The condemned sinner goes to heaven because the Christian has the eyeball! LOL, never the other way around. Great for a laugh, but too stupid to actually believe. Everything the Christian receives is passed on in whole through the part! This is the scriptural principle of redemption where by placing what is to be redeemed in Christ. That which is in Christ is Christ. Christ does not redeem only part, He redeems the whole. All this is in the scriptures.
Unfortunately, this will not be a popular answer because many Christians like to be stingy with God's grace (they blame it on God but the Bible gives them every opportunity to do otherwise). Fortunately God is not stingy. She even gives grace to those who make Her out to be an unforgiving, mean, ungenerous b*tch. Better to live life as an atheist believing God is dead than to live life believing God is mean and vengeful (how unpleasant). Grace is not earned, so give it away, God does and died proving it.

Well, Jesus didn't mean it in that way... it's not the eye litteraly, it's the symbol wich resides in it.. I mean, It's not a sin to be sick and need a transplant.. Even if it is the eye of a sinner, it doensn't matter what is was, but what it is becoming,,, Make good use of it and you'll go to heaven.. Always try to be on the good side,,, Jesus wanted to tell us by this saying that we should try our best to not sin and to always follow the light... And remember, Jesus sacrified himself for us.. and he'll forgive us if we asked for it faithfully...
Have a nice day and may always Jesus guide you :)

How did the eye sin? How will the eye lead the recipient to sin? Neither of my questions is logical, because the eye didn't sin and the it can't make someone sin. A sinner makes their own choices.
I know only one religion that supposedly believes blood stores a person's record of sin. I am not really sure if this is their belief or an urban legend re: their beliefs. Any way, they may just refuse blood transfusions because once the life force of blood is gone it is supposed to be your time to die. Maybe a JW will answer your question and my question about their beliefs.

Dude, that is a parable that says if u live ur life with a sinning aspect throw that aspect of ur life away. You can not be condemned to hell by recieving a sinner's eyeball. U can only go to hell if u deny christ from ur life!

yes. he would go to heaven if he was a real Christan . GOD is not stupid he is fully aware of transplants. further more he is aware that this person who donated his eyes did a good thing and he knows the heart and mind of every person only real condemned are those who will be so judged on the day of judgment we as people are not capable of knowing who is condemned or not

This is metaphorical. The sinner is to get rid of anything in his life that is getting between him and heaven. It is the soul that matters, not the body parts.

yes b/c it is only a worldly body part. it is only how you use it is what counts. God gave us free will for a reason and that was only a parable that he said. there is still a chance the person can go to heaven but that is his/her choice what they want to do with their future. so whatever life you choose, choose the right one b/c you will have to live with it forever. :)

yes. when a person loses a limb or an eye, this part of him is going to heaven first, and is going to be waiting for him there. so when he dies, the eyes of the criminal is going to hell, while and he will be re-joined with his eyes (now fully healed) in heaven.

The receiver of the eyeball will have neither done to him.
The reason?
No heaven or hell... Gosh it breaks our hearts doesn't it?
