Keep asking questions like these and discuss what you hope to see next year.

Surf the net and find out information to make you a more informed fan.

Stalk Carl Edwards (just kidding)

Football, basketball, hockey

Go to Daytona Beach and do one of the Richard Petty Driving expieriences.

Go to Charlotte and see (if they have opened it yet) the NASCAR hall of fame. Many other tracks have museums like the Texas Motor Speedway.

Go to a F-1 type race track in your local area and race. There are a couple in the Boston area and they are awesome.

hibernate.

Work extra hours

And if you are fortunate enough to live in a snowy area build replica NASCAR vehicles and drivers in your yard. Light applications of food coloring diluted in a spray bottle could make some realistic looking colors.

I don't really follow other sports, so during the NASCAR off season, I don't have any other sports to watch!! I usually pass time by playing NASCAR '6 and '07 on my Playstation 2. I don't know if you have a game system, but it's fun to play those games. You can be any driver and race any track...and even be in other NASCAR racing forms like Whelen.

I also go online and look at NASCAR.com and other sites, like my favorote drivers' official sites. It keeps me up on anything that could be going on.

I also watch old NASCAR races on video. I get excited when my fave driver (smoke) wins...even though they're old races!!!!

Good luck! Hope this helps 'till February!!! Daytona, here we come!!

I Tivo the whole season each year and re-watch a lot of the good races during the off-season. I even record the pre and post race shows on Speed Channel. That's another thing, you can watch ESPN Classic and Speed Channel for racing stuff. ESPN Classic plays old races.

I also go through all of my issues of Nascar Illustrated and re-read the articles.

Watch other racing series. Its actually quite entertaining watching racing without any bias. And I'm not just talking cars. Last off-season I watched a lot of Moto-x racing. Its a lot of fun. Your grand finale of other racing should be watching the 24 Hours at Daytona. Then the next week is the Bud Shootout.

Get out of the house a bit, go to the local track on the weekend and watch some races there, it can be a blast.

Ha, I know how that is. It's a little late for this suggestion but I'll tell you anyway. I have Satelitte with DVR so I record every race of the season then when the season is over i rewatch them, the good ones anyway.

Should do what I do during he season, TiVO all the races so I can watch and enjoy them during the off season. Or you could get your dirt track car ready for next year like I started this week :o)

Good question. I Googled this question and ended up here. I can watch football with the home team, but otherwise...not interested. Nascar.com TrackPass is Great to pass the time...that and old races on the DVR!

GITIT!
