You don't make a direct deposit into a debit card. You make a direct deposit into a bank account, either checking or savings. Then you get a debit card tied to the account. Any bank or credit union can set you up.

why not ask your bank that question...as to which debit cards can accept direct deposit payments. You might be sorry in doing that as there might be a high monthly fee for their service which will increase your monthly payment, and increase it when they feel like and you won't get your statement till later in the month and the account may go haywire. Check it out thoroughly before you make any decision. Those bank charges can kill ya, especially if they charge interest on them.

Well, I assume since youre asking, that your credit is bad and you cant get a regular bank account. Citibank has a program where you can open a checking account, but you cant write checks, you only get a card. It has a 3$ monthly fee. But, its a MasterCard, not Visa. Just walk in to any branch.
Or, if you live in Nevada, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington or the San Diego, CA area, you can go to a Moneytree branch and they have a program to get a MasterCard but I forget how much the fees are.

If you live by a mall, most of them do those now. People usually buy them as gift cards, but they are really a reloadable visa credit card, so you can use it that way. You can also buy something called a "green-dot" reloadable visa card at a Walgreens or CVS or some other pharmacy store.

Most banks have this feature.
If you already have a checking account, this feature might be available for you at your current bank.
