Yes,
I was raised strict Christian, straight from the bible, well supposedly. I say supposedly because we followed many many traditions of man that "supposedly" came from the Bible.
I still believe the Bible is true in many aspects, but have found that is hard to understand unless you truly truly want to know the truth. I one day decided that the story of Jesus was all too familiar in other ancient religions. There are many other religions before modern day Christianity that believed in a dieing and raising man/god. All very similar to the Jesus story...all the way down to the virgin birth, wise men, crucifixion, and resurrection. It was as if Jesus copied other stories. I did ask my Dad about this, and he say, "they knew that Jesus was coming and were just trying to copy him". Well that just didn't fly. So I decided to find out why there are so many similar stories in history. Come to find out the Jesus story is very much a "copycat" story.
I have found so much more truth now I know this, and have found the bible to be even more true because of it. But ONLY ON A SPIRITUAL LEVEL, and not on a historical level. When I read the bible as history, all I see are contractions, but when I read it as a spiritual book with a deep spiritual message, it makes all the sense in the world. The Jesus story is a story of Adam and Eve and their death in the "garden". Adam (son of God, Jesus) died because if he didn't eat of that fruit with eve, she would be lost forever. He went with her into the flesh, to one day be fully raised again.
2Pet.3
[8] But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Hos.6
[2] After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

I was baptized & raised as an Orthodox Christian. Four years ago, I became a Wiccan. I really didn't feel good as a Christian and felt that something was missing from my life. I've read the Bible 5 times, from cover to cover, and struggled to "take it on faith", but I couldn't. Once I discovered Wicca, I knew that it's going to be my path for the rest of my life and I was finally at peace. I can't say it has been easy, I lost my best friend and the respect of every member of my family because of it, but I didn't give it up. I've married a Wiccan and now we're expecting twins and we'll teach them that everyone has his/her own path, even if it's a different path from the one of their family, and we'll never judge them for their decisions in this matter.

I was born and raised a Baptist. When my mother died from cancer I left religion because the only answer I got to why she died was that it was God's Will.
Now I am older and hopefully wiser. I have embraced Wicca as my path and when I question why my mother died I know she died because of cancer in her body, when I ask why she suffered with it for so long I know the answer is because she wasn't ready to leave her young kids behind in this world. She chose to hang on longer to see her family grow until the pain became too much and she had to give in and shed this mortal realm in favor of what lies beyond the veil.

I was born in a house that believed in God but never went to church. When I became a teenager I became an atheist because I hated anything religious. But later after I hit a huge low point in my life I started praying and seeing results! So I asked God to reveal his truth to me and a day later someone gave me a Bible! A couple years later I ended up getting baptized and becoming a believer!

I was raised nominally Christian until I was sent to a Christian high school at 16. I was 'saved' at 7 in a Methodist vacation Bible school. After a young adulthood fairly devout I became agnostic. Then I found Buddhism. I am happy with this belief.

I did. I knew from early childhood the Methodist Church which I attended on my own wasn't complete. There were certain truths I knew that I later found in the scriptures. I knew these principles were true. Eventually I found a Church which taught the principles I knew to be true.

I converted to atheism. I realized that religion was not real and that I was partaking in driving myself crazy.
