have you tried looking at control as a paradox? The more control you want to have the farther away you are from The Lord, the more you surrender your addiction to control, the more The Lord will show wonders trough your life. How do you do this? Just do it! You have enough understanding and will power to stop yourself from running back to where you came from, don't you? If you don't, you are a puppet of your false self.

you should always be in control. To leave your decision to an imaginary friend is risky to say the least
