I wouldn't do it if I were you. Dark hair, no matter how dark is beautiful. It's the color that best suits you because its your natural color, and its what was given to you. Trying to make it a lighter color, i.e. blonde, I've heard is extremely difficult and somewhat painful from all the bleach that burns you. It could very likely ruin your hair, which it will, and takes a long time to restore. I would just leave it, and if you can't bare it, then put suttle highlights, dark blonde or caramel, just nothing too drastic as to the color it it would compare to. Something that mixes well. I think you'll be happier. And besides, having blonde hair w/pale skin will make you look even paler, prob almost sickly. Dark hair and blue eyes w/light pale skin is a beautiful mix, don't change it!!!!

Red, always red!
I have dark brown hair and am mega pale. Blonde is out of the question if you're pale... It would not be a good look with your colouring. The opposite extreme, black would emphasize your paleness, and again, you would look goth, and if that's not the look you're after....
Red is the ideal solution.
If your hair's too dark a brown for the red to show, then lighten a few streaks, and dye all over. the brown will have a reddish tinge. and the lighter bits will come out quite red.
Although I will just say... red is high maintenance... fades VERY quickly (even with permanents, the water runs red with every wash) and needs re-doing lots. Worth it though.
Good luck!

You could always try to have a few shades of blonde highlighted into your hair. Pick about 3 shades of warm blonde colours, but go to a salon and have it done professionally. I have dark brown hair and every so often i have red and warm blonde put through it everyone comments on the colours. Be careful and dont do it yourself.

Go to a hairdresser and ask for foils, they can weave a few different colours through without being too harsh on your hair but lighten it too, and then progressively go to even lighter shades, they will advise you. By the way I've been blonde for 30 years, just gone to red, hair colour doesn't matter, then again no females are ever happy with their hair. x

Having your hair highlighted would be a great way to go a lighter colour. Maybe a warm blonde would suit your complexion & eye colour, i.e. honey blonde, as the new hair colour will warm your skin tone as well!!

It'll be too shocking for you to go from dark brown to blond since you're not used to your hair being light. You should either get blond highlights, or have it colored a medium brown.

Blonde will wash you totally out. Try a few highlights near your face. Have them professionally done unless you're an ace at doing your own.
