If using sensodyne, I'm guessing you have a sensitivity issue. Try colgate for sens teeth, it tastes better. Also, you can get Prevident 5000 a sodium based fluoride product from your dental health professional, $7-$12 a tube, use this at night for sensitivity and Ultradent's advanced whitening (consumer reports rated great for stain removal)during the day. best to see dental provider if any other issues, many colleges even community colleges have dental hygiene programs that clean teeth and take xrays for fees less than $10.00, check your area and see if such programs exist in and around you then you can get your teeth cleaned and get professional advice (and many times lotsa free samples) for just a few bucks.

Crest Pro-Health prevents cavities, plaque, gingivitis, tartar, sensitivity, and it whitens, and freshens breath.
