To me, it means that there should be no boundaries. We should all learn to live together. We should be able to come and go as we please from anywhere without us being afraid of others and others being afraid of us. But alas, we have already gone to far for that haven't we. Now you need a passport to get into the Bahamas. And we don't even want to talk about racial profiling....

Yes Socrates, it was a great idea but because we like to make a mess of things, it wasn't meant to be....

I believe it has to do with our global responsibility. That we can't only be loyal to our individual countries or states, but take active roles in the enire world, which we all share.
