I just met this guy last weekend. He asked for my number and we talked a couple times this week. He asked me to go out after he was dont work today (at 3). Well I haven't heard from him and now its 4:00. Well he just got online and put his away message up. Is he trying to avoid me? I mean I know people like to get cleaned up but he has to go to work at his other job by 9 tonight. So its not like we have a whole lot of time to hang out. So did he blow me off?

Give the man time to unwind after work ...
Give him a chance to wash up ....
Give him a minute to relax ...
And if he blows you off tonight , don't sweat it...
He already asked you out ...
Maybe he's tired from the T-Day thing and a few hours between 2 jobs may not be enough to catch up on rest ...
He talked to you , He asked you out, he's obviously interested...

Sounds like he's avoiding you. If he does call you ask him why he didn't call you and if you did something. Did it go good last time you went out/talked? If so, he may be getting scared about something or avoiding something..you need to ask him next time you talk just to clear things up.

Perhaps he had to work late and he is getting cleaned up right now, which is why his "away" message is up. If you don't hear from him in an hour, I would say that he is avoiding you and to forget about him.

It's quite possible...why don't you contact him and see what kind of response you get? Sometimes people forget...sometimes they just don't feel like being social...and sometimes, they are cowards and give others the "brush off" rather than being mature and telling it like it is...

You can either contact him and see what happens from there...or forget him and move on...don't sit around dwelling and fretting though...he doesn't deserve that much of your time/energy at this point...

maybe he has to work late you never know, has he done any thing to let you think that he was not going to come other than not showing up on time. you know that guys are never on time for these things.

you are sweating this way too much. this is a stupid question. talk to him and see if he still is going to a date with you. and be patient maybe he's doing something important.

Girl...be thankful for the signs. Are truth and loyalty important to you? They are to me....I would text him and ask him the same.
