I hope you are not the one who will be doing the home schooling, from looking at your question! It is best to let someone else who knows proper grammer school your kids. Why try to teach them when you can't even write correctly? Poor kids!

www.TheMorningStarAcademy.org has a hug resources section for homeschoolers. Just go to the main page and click on Homeschool Laws. You will find lots of info about NY state.

The person that is picking on you about grammar needs to check their own spelling! LOL

Anyway, go to http://www.HSLDA.org and look up New York. You will find a plethora of information and a 'humongotoid' variety of helpful links! There is a tremendous amount of help and resources available to you.

Look for links to home-schooling organizations in your area. There will be conferences and curriculum sales. You will also be able to find people that buy, sell, and trade educational material. Some people even give away the things that they no longer need.
You will find events and field-trips, co-op classes and many other great things.
