There's a commandment that outranks the forward god emails one, and that's "thou shalt not perpetuate spam".
Have a good one, Mavster!

Mav darlin, don't worry about it, trash it. God won't be angry at you for not sending them off, I get those daily and it's so annoying. If you find it cute and want to share, go for it, other than that, it's fine that Mav didn't send it.
Something I need to add. I get all types, not just about the Lord, the ones that are super annoying are the ones that say you will have bad luck if you don't send it in the next 5 minutes. Don't believe that rubbish ever!!

Mav got an e-mail chain letter. I am very glad that Mav didn't forward it. E-mail chain letters of any kind are an annoyance.
I wish there was a commandment like the one you listed. Maybe we can get one that says "Thou shalt not use thy cell phone in public places."

I don't like chain letters, Mav, even if they have a nice story to it. I might send the story to someone who I feel might be blessed by it, but, it's still a form of superstition...I get them too...something like.."God will answer the prayer you just prayed in the next 24 hrs if you forward this to X amount of people" LOL

Yes all you need to do is twist the part in the 10 commandments when God tells Mosses that he is a Jealous God.

Well, I suppose the email context could be related to Jesus saying ' Preach to the World ', but I wouldn't do this in the form of email.
" If you're not ashamed of God " statement sounds like a guilt trip. I would destroy it on that text alone. Besides, can you be certain that some one it's using you to spread a virus?
I would destroy the email, then have your system scanned for viruses and tracking cookies. It just sounds wrong to me.

Good for Mav! Chain letters are chain letters are chain letters... use your life to show that you are not ashamed of God, not your email service!

You did the right thing.
(Only 2 commandments, both from Jesus. Jesus saw we were having trouble with ten, being such a large number and all. All that thinking, so hard for us. Thought we could remember 2 better.)
