For me it would have to be Kaspersky internet security 2010. I'm using it right now on this machine. It has 895 mb of memory. Not quite a gig. I have no problems with it at all. I've used Kaspersky for almost 5 years with out ever being infected. You will find that the sand box feature really comes in handy. Especially if your going to sites that you are not sure of. There is no free AV that can hold a candle to it. All free AV's have security holes in them. Think about this. Microsoft Security Essentials come from the same people that gave us Microsoft Windows. I'm using a windows based computer right now. But fact is fact. Windows is one of the most trouble prone OS in the world. Look at Vista. It was only out 2 or 3 years and they stopped trying to get it to work right. Ever since windows came out it has been problematic. We are suppose to believe that the people that brought us such a trouble prone OS, One so trouble prone that you almost have to be a security specialist to keep it from being attacked constantly, We are suppose to believe they can make a free AV that works right when other companies that have been making free AV products longer than they have can't do it? If you buy that then i have some wet lands in death valley i want to sell you.

Yes excellent and you can get it for free for life from the link below. A free gift from "AOL", to be used by anybody. You don't even have to have an "AOL" account. They will ask you for your email address and send you a key to install. I assume the key is good for life.

I had Avast for nine plus years an I never had one virus. Last night I was hit with four trojans and Avast missed them all. So after nine years of no trojans, I remove Avast and the free aol is powered by Kaspersky. Kaspersky found and destroyed the four trojans.

Your first scan will be auto. an it will run atleast 1 hour and 40 minutes. After that all other scan will run under an hour.

Yes indeed..
It updates the database regularly and is really good at defending your PC against both viruses and trojans.
In addiation it doesnt slow down your computer significantly as most of the anti-virus softwares do.
I strongly reccomend you use that one..
