why do guys act really retatrded around you?
do they purposely try to make you jelaous or make you think about them? like this guy will purposely hang out right in front of me and like, play soccer in front of where i work everyday, even though it is just a random sidewalk in the middle of frickin nowhere.
if a guy talks to you about how another girl is fat, ugly, slutty, prude, etc. etc. etc. does that mean he things you are skinny, pretty, etc.etc.etc?
and lastly, i think this guy likes me (my friend who is a guy and friends with him a little said he did, along with some of my friends who are girls.) but he is younger so here is my question about that:
i live in the deep south, and here the guy is always the one to make the first move, talk to the girl, etc. etc. etc. but if i am the older one, should it be me??
is it weird to date a younger guy? (he is AT MOST a year younger but i don't really know)

I was born and raised in Mississippi. It doesn't get any deeper south than that. I always liked older women. I didn't like the games the younger ones tend to play.
From what you discribed it sounds like the guy likes you and is trying to impress you by playing ball around you and hanging out around you but he's like me, relatively shy. He probably has some self esteem issues and you are probably a real attractive lady. It's difficult for us guys, no matter how attractive we are, it's difficult to approach good looking women and tell them how we want to be with them. Well, it used to be for me anyway. But now that I'm a little older 36, i've realized that if we let them know how we really feel, we'll get one or two things. A date, or a no thanks. So, when I was in my late teens and early 20's, I loved it when a woman made the first move. I knew I was in. I learned to dance real well and would often get on the dance floor alone. Then before the song was over, I'd have atleast one woman dancing with me, most of the time more than one. So simular to the guy playing ball and hanging out around you, we want to do things that impress you enough so you come over and start conversating.
Go ahead and make the first move. Let him know if you are interested. he's not crazy, just finds you really really attractive to the point you are unaproachable.

You sound like your very Young and Still Wig out about the OMG does he Like me?
Well for starters I'm guessing that the Soccer dude is quite young too andt herefore probably either does not have a lot of experience with telling you how he feels about you, or scared of rejection. In This day and Age i'd say it is quite all right if you want to Initiate the first contact. Soccer Dude will probably feel relieved and once you get him to open up I'd bet that the emotions will pour out of him If indeed you are of Interest to him.
And who knows why Guys get All retarded over girls. Not all of them do but Just be who you are and dont give in to pressures of Having to Act one way or another and you will Land yourself in a Great relationship when the right one comes along.
Don't take it All too serious Yet you have plenty of time for that Later

well,the things he is really likes you, I know this for when a boy is attracted to a girl he tries hard to get her attention, cross all limit,
also when a guy Criticize other girls before you he means to show you that he is not interested in them.
Now about who should make an attempt, i feel you should, because he is trying hard to get your attention i don't know what sort of response you are giving him,
Before he is discourage propose him.

i think if u really like him u should start but if not so much u shouldnt but he is not the last guy in the world why would u like a guy whose younger than u if he was older it is ok but younger i dont think and believe me after a while u r going to find that u r just his elder sister i dont think this relationship is ok

I think that he does like u. But it is NOt weird to date someone younger. My best friend was in 9th grade and she daetd a 7th grader and it lasted until he was in highschool.

i would find a way to get this guy involved with helping me with something like go out there and drop a load of books in his soccer space and see how he reacts. make sure to offer him a cookie or something for helping you (if he helps) but only if you like him. you got to get close enough to see if you feel some type of chemistry.
