Not only does ID lack any sort of evidence, it lacks any sort of testable hypothesis.
The fact is; ID is mythology trying to enter the classroom in disguise as science. Thankfully, the disguise is so flimsy and so easily seen through that no one with more than an ounce of brain matter is fooled.
John, you're an outright liar.
Einstein would NEVER have said anything that inane. I realize that pious fraud is something you idiots have to resort to on a daily basis, but it's still fraud...

Yes Intelligent design is a theory, under the common definition of a theory (vs the scientific understand of what a theory is). It turns out it is wrong. It doesn't explain why an eye developed but evolution can, which leads to a deeper understanding of our world and more questions.
Intelligent design stops the discovery process in its tracks. "Q:Why do we have eyes?" "R:Because God did it." That's the end. Curiosity is satisfied and our collective knowledge doesn't change.
I know what I just said will be viewed by some as straw man argument, but I haven't come across a better one for intelligent design.

ID is a theory. It is about 60 years old. It is the conclusion drawn by Albert Einstein to satisfy questions that conventional evolutionary thought could not answer. Most scientist scoffed at this idea, some embraced it. It has recently gained popularity again in the scientific community. ID is not a creationist theory. We believe it is a good honest step in the right direction, but incomplete.

It's not a theory in the scientific sense. A scientific theory needs to explain things, predict things, be useful in further science. ID is none of those things besides saying 'god did it'. You can't use the idea that 'god did it' for anything.

It is a "theory", but not a scientific one. Scientific theories require evidence and discussion. Evolution qualifies, despite whatever creationists say. ID is just another form of creationism, which doesn't qualify as scientific.
SCIENCE: Study nature, not books.
CREATION: Study books, not nature.

Did you know your eye is red? Yeah, I knew that it's a theory. We Christians aren't stupid. But then again, evolution is a theory too. All we ask is that both are taught in the school systems equally and presented within the media equally.
We believe in God on faith, not by sight.

someone mentioned their theory is based on facts...can you show me some facts? i'd love to see it...I think ID and all religions are connected. I am the god for the ID(which includes everything) theory, i made everything the way it is :)....now its time for me to change some things, my most regret is giving humans the ability to know right from wrong, they really can't use it! amateurs
