IF she did NOT finish the school on time -- but has to take an additional course over the summer to make up the missed/failed class!
Other than that -- everyone that successfully graduates SHOULD wear the full cap/gown and be proud of their accomplishments!

My mother never wore a cap on her graduation day, because it was oversized, and she was afraid that it would fall off her when collecting her degree.
