no. it is possible for a christian to fall into sin.
but if a person who claims to be a christian is a habitual sinner, that means there is something wrong in the equation. because a true Christian will always hate sin, although he might sometimes fall into it.
But he will never like to stay in it. He will give everything he can to get out, first thing.
its like cats who like to avoid water.

Okay so the whole point of being a Christian is CONFESSING that you ARE a sinner. Being a Christian doesn't make you anymore less a sinner. But, a Christian tries to make more of the right decisions(obeying parents, reading the Bible...) The main part about being saved is confessing that Jesus Christ is your personal savior, not that you are perfect. And also, no sin is worse than another. SIN IS SIN! In God's eyes it is all wrong. So, if you are saved when you do commit a sin you repent(ask for forgiveness)
I hope this helps!

First of all, all sins ARE equal, in God's eyes. Jesus died for ALL sins, with none being worse than others. The murderer and the liar equally. Second, if you continually commit sin, with no remorse (no sadness over doing so), then I'd have to wonder if you were a Christian. Before you were saved, you sinned because that was your nature. When you got saved, God gave you a new nature, that lives alongside the old nature, which often wars with our new nature, and results in us committing a sin. What makes the difference is that when we sin, we feel guilty over doing so, because we know it hurts God when one of His children sins. Then, we take steps to get our relationship right with Him. We tell Him we're sorry and ask Him to forgive us. And, according to the Bible, He does...not even remembering it ever happened. If we find that we continue doing the same sin over and over, it's time to have some quiet time with God, and talk to Him about your actions. I would say that if you're reading the Bible daily, getting with other mature Christians on a regular basis, and understanding completely what the Christian life is all about, then you're on your way to becoming a mature Christian. What happens to many who think they're saved is that they make an emotional response, not really wanting all of God. Many just want God to be their personal genie in a bottle, popping out to grant all of their prayers as THEY see fit. So, if you find that, as time goes by, many of the sins you used to do become less and less, then you're on your way. I've heard it said that, as a Christian, you can smoke all the dope you want to, drink all the beer your want to, and sleep with all the people you want to...only now God has put a different "want to" in your heart. Now, your perspective has changed. You see things through spiritual eyes, as God wants you to. Now, you live to please Him, and Him alone. He's the one we'll all have to answer to, one day, so everything a Christian does directly affects God. He loves us, and only wants the best for us. He wants us to want Him, fully and completely. So, while it's true that you'll still tell a lie (there are NO white lies...they're all black), blow your cool or do some other unkind, unwise thing, the difference comes in your heart. When you sin, you'll know it, and you won't have any peace until you get things right, with the one you offended, as well as with God. Please feel free to e-mail me for any additional questions or thoughts. <*)))><

I don't beleive so. See, the devil works 24/7, and he sees new christians as easy meat. Mostly as a test of faith. You are right. We WILL continue to sin. We all fall well short of the glory of Christ! Sin is unacceptable, all we can do is try our best. God knows that we are imperfect. I beleive the only way to avoid falling victim to the devils tricks are through discipline, fellowship, and strong prayer. I believe the worst thing you can do is pretend your a christian, and live a totally different lifestyle behind closed doors or whatever. A sin is a sin, anyway you look at it. The worst sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, it is "unfogiveable". Any other sin is forgiven under Christ's covenant. Even the most disciplined christians fall victim to temptation. All you can do is pray for forgiveness and do your best to not go that way again. I don't know what God thinks about one hainous thing compared to another. If you are confused about something, pray. That's what I always do, and frequently.

Sin is sin. Big or small, it will keep you from having a close relationship with God. As to whether you are a Christian, it might be argued that only Christians can sin.
A non-Christian could be equated to a person in the ocean, immersed in the water. No matter what he does, he is still wet. In this allegory, the Christian is the one on the shore. He, by his actions, can stay dry, become wet, or be totally immersed. Many professing Christians are all wet. This is because they have chosen a path that leaves them less than dry.

According to the bible there is one sin that is unforgiveable and that is blaspheming against the holy spirit. Also the bible says that all sin and come short, We as christians sometimes get angry as everyone does and need forgiveness, we are far from perfect and need all the prayers anyone can send up as the bible says, pray for one another that we can all be a better christian and not fall into temptation. So if you have time plese pray for me that i will be a better christian, thank you and God bless you.

If a person is baptized he is saved and no matter what sin he commits afterwords he is forgiven and he will enter the Kingdom of Heave. The Lord Jesus assures us of that. How can a person really not be saved. There is no such thing as really not being saved. All sins are forgivable. If the eye offends the pluck it out and cast it from the. It is better to enter Heaven with one eye than to be cast into Hell with two eyes where the worm never dies and the flame is not quinced sayeth the Lord. If the right arm offend the cut it off and cast it from thee. It is better to go to heaven with one arm than to be cat into hell where the worm does not die and the fire is not quinced. God bless kisses Betty.

1.All sins are equal in God's eyes
2. God knows that no one is perfect and we are still humans that make mistakes. That is why the Bible is here to help Christians through life especially when they fall from His grace.
3. And everytime a Christian sins, they must repent.

The only sin I can think of would be "unbelief". Becoming a Christian (being born again) does not keep one from sinning, but it does keep one from living in sin. One may lie, or cheat, or steal, or even kill-but if they are born again, they will not be able to continue in a sinful lifestyle.

Who said all sins are equal before God?
All sinners are equal before God. There's a big difference.
The only sin you cannot commit as a Christian is the sin of being a Christian (which obviously you cannot commit unless you are of another faith that holds not being of that faith as a sin).
Being saved and being a sinner are also not necessarily connected. We are all sinners, but it is unlikely none of us will be saved, or there is no point to the Christian religion.
To me, the worst sin is to assume and state that someone else is not saved. Only God knows that, and to presume one is on a par with God must be the greatest sin.
