Aw that is sweet. I love my grandma because no matter what I do or how old I get I'll always be her baby. I can tell my grandma anything and she is there to listen. I can't sit on my grandma's lap anymore though. Because I am bigger then her,but I look just like her. lol She also has the best gum and Andy's candies in her purse. ☺

WOW! When my grandmother was alive, I loved her smell. She was always in the kitchen cooking it seemed. Her odors were a mixture of fried chicken, fresh baked bread and cookies. On Sunday's she would smell like Royal Secret - the only perfurme that I remember her wearing. I can still smell it today. I loved the moles she had on her face. I loved her voice when she would call us to breakfast - "Girls", she would say, "Time to get up and have some breakfast so you can start your day!" It was always summer, and no matter what - she made sure my sister and I had our breakfast. She used to tell the most fantastic stories about my dad when he was a little boy. I loved my Grandmother so much and I miss her - and wish that I could have said and done more to make her life prosperous and rich.

That's real sweet. Sounds like you've got a great grandkid there.
I had two wonderful grandmas.
One of them was very generous and served other people, even when she was so ill she had to carry around an oxygen tank. It seemed like she always had a quilt on the frame that she was going to give away or a pie in the oven because it was one of her grandkids' favorite.
My other grandma was full of life and liked to go dancing with her boyfriend even when she was of a very advanced age.
I look forward to seeing them again.

I love my grandma because she has never been judge mental and she has always offered that shoulder for me to cry on. I also think that it is great that your 8 year old would be sweet enough to ask this kind of question.

I'm 43 and my grandma is no longer with us. But what I remember the most about her is....How she would give me great big hugs and always had a smile for me, even when I did something wrong and her house always smelled like sugar cookies. :-)

If asking what I love about HIS grandma? I would say that it is wonderful that you are spending such precious time with him. If he wants to know what I love about MY grandma, I would have to say her ability to always make me feel like whatever I say, it makes sense and she knows exactly how I feel.

I love my grandma because she is always there for me, whether its just hanging out or lending me money to get out of a bind. She is just so sweet.

Her unconditional love. I also love her willingness to speak her mind but the wisdom to know when to do it.

Such a great grandson you must have!
