There are many state capitals in Australia that you can travel to (Sydney, Perth, Melbourne..), many coastal regions in Australia that you can travel to (Byron Bay, Wollongong, Brighton in Melbourne..), and many regional areas in Australia that you can travel to (Orange, Alice Springs, Townsville..), but which of these you visit is entirely up to you. For what's available at each destination, please look at their websites.
Airlines such as VirginBlue, Jetstar, Qantas, QantasLink, REx, Aeropelican, etc. can get you almost all around Australia, with the growing amount of airports available.
Should you be wishing to travel internationally, New Zealand is a top destination for Australian tourists, with Air New Zealand, Qantas, and FreedomAir flying there daily.
Singapore and Bali are also rather close to Australia, with airlines such as Jetstar, Qantas, and Singapore Airlines flying to several parts of each region.
Islands close by such as Vanuatu and Fiji are top tourism destinations, ensuring a relaxing holiday. Airlines such as PacificBlue and Jetstar fly there daily.
