How hot Can a Eathernet Cable Get?

I have a computer and internet in my deen and I have a PS2 down in the basement that I want connected to the internet. I have a shared heater vent/air conditioner vent that can be reached. Can the Eathernet cable withstand the heat from the vent?

depending on how warm ur heat gets it maybe okay.. dont take my word for it... it will work when the air is on but heat is risky!!!
