What do you think of Shyann Rayne as a name for a baby girl? Do you think it sounds a little bit too weird? Will she be teased in school for it?

It seems the majority of you likes this name. :) So I'll use it, but with a different spelling - Deb, you're right about "shy Ann".
I also agree that is hard to spell & pronounce, but I have the same problem with my name (which is Oana, spelled "Wannah", I'm originally from Romania, this is why my name is so weird) and I get to laugh all the time when people mess it up.

I actually like the name....Kids will tease about anything and everything. It would matter if your kid was named that or jane kids, will pick no matter what.
I would name your child what you want and who cares what others think.

Ok, I get to be the bad guy. I think the name is soft and pretty, but I wouldn't choose it because it sounds like "shy Ann" which seems a bit sad to me. Shania Rayne is close and doesn't sound sad. You could change the spelling of Shania to Shaniya if you want the "y".
Someone earlier wrote that kids will tease no matter what the name is, and I do agree with that. That is not why I wouldn't choose Shyann (Shy Ann). The name just sounds sad.

That's really really pretty. I love it, you should go with it. No, I don't think she'll be teased at all, that's not a weird name.

It is pretty however she will spend her life correcting the pronunciation and spelling of her name.
