I have restored to an earlier date, I have also upgraded from MediaPlayer 10 to version 11. Moreover, all of the tests say that my system is working fine. Yet, to no avail. The program will no longer play sound files that are on the Internet.

i expierianced that problem 2, but i fixed the proble, by uninstalling wmp11, and checking if wmp10 work, and plays fikeas from the internet, the i reinstalled the file directly from microspfts website, restarted the pc and it worked fine, alsi check to see if its your username ethats not playing.make another username and check if thats pkays i* files...if so the proble, is with ypur username

get in the add and remove in control panel and remove all codecs that you see do a search for k-lite mega codec pack and download and install
