well, you can ask Christians the same of all the crosses they hang all over the place. Those are bought and sold, put on clearance, etc. and as for the appearance of Buddha, most pictures of Jesus make him look like the king of hippies, so if you are so vain to choose your god on looks, I am given yet another reason to back me up when people ask why I left organized religion.

How can Hinduism believe in something that can be bought, sold, half price or broken such as the Hindu gods???

And Islam believes a black stone as Gods abode and an illiterate man as God's messenger...

I think we all had someone who was our god before we came to the knowledge of the one true God, for some it was Elvis or a movie star etc, these Hindu people are like this because they have not come to know the true God of Jesus Christ.

I agree with your question from my point of view, but others will point to the Roman Catholic statues and paintings of Jesus, etc....
It's the false idols -seen 'round the world.
Worshipping Christ through the Holy Spirit is what pleases God, I believe.

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Judges 10:13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

Very true, it all comes down to what people "think" they need in life to justify all this rubbish. If it's not "tangible" in their eyes, if they can't feel/touch it, they freak out, always needing to look up to something or someone.

If they found Christ, truly found him, they would have no need for dolls, statues, pictures, saints, etc.........
