wow, whomever said it would be wrong for them to put alcohol in the mix is wrong. There usually is alcohol in many mixes. Its like the tinest amount and its there to help it bake, it doesnt matter if a man living in a bubble had that much alcohol, basicaly everything in cooking involves alcohol, its just alcohol to a point where it does not even matter.

They don't contain alcohol for flavoring (it would be supremely irresponsible for them to use it without making it obvious... even if it cooks out, the childhood habit of "licking the spoon" - which is bad in itself, because of raw eggs - would mean children were getting direct alcohol, and even in tiny doses, they have to make it clear on the box).

I don't think your average cake or brownie mix is kosher, but I think you can find mixes that are. There's a kosher section in the ethnic food aisle at many supermarkets, and they contain a lot of kosher alternatives to previously non-kosher favorites. I'm not familiar with halal.

in case you have a Kroger food market (Ralph's), get your stuff from them. Their fees are the final while it is composed of this form of baked products. i exploit them for each little thing. i be attentive to they have each little thing on your record.

no...virginia there is no alcohol in cake mix until you accidentally spill some in there....WHOOPS...darn it i just spilled some jamesons into my cupcake batter....
