Please explain what keeps you from being more zealous for God, and if possible, please explain how you would define someone who is "on fire" for God. What keeps you from being this more?

I feel that I am not worthy.I feel so guilty and worthless.....I am trying to figure out what I am doing to make me feel this way.No luck yet....
I used to be "on fire" for God,I used to pray more,read the Bible more,talk about what Jesus had done for me often......

The only thing that keeps you from being "on fire" for God is not talking to Him everyday and reading His word. That is so important. I would say that "on fire" means you are having your daily time with God, not just to be "religious" but because you love God and want to know Him better and know more about Him. Also....when you do this, you are desiring to share Jesus with others and live your life as a witness to others of what Jesus has done in your life.

Keeps me from being on fire: School and getting caught up in the here and now. Getting caught up in worldly pleasures. laziness
On fire: someone who brings god everywhere they go. usually peaceful calm and accepting, not one to force people to live how he thinks, but still has a standard. A person who everyone either hates or loves because of his uncompromisingly beliefs. Someone who can give an honest blessing to someone who hates him. a person who knows god and can sense his wishes and acts on them.

I left Christianity long ago because of this twisting of the Christian religion.
Laws are being contemplated, Christian groups in university are being examined closely and some now being banned because of the extremists.
On fire for God? More like anti-Christian, self serving and fast depleting the church of honest Christians!!!
