I had this guy ask me out on a date, so I don't think he sees me as one of the guys.... However, when I spoke to him last ,he addressed me by my last name. First of all, nobody in my circle of friends do that. And secondly I dislike it.
How do I view this, and should I politely correct him should it happen again?
Oh and he did it when he was with his buddies.... So is he just a really immature 30something?

Of course, if you don't like it then don't settle. It wont offend him, just say :
"(haha) Why do you call me that?? Call me (first name), do you think you're my boss or something? (haha)"
lol... I call people that way when I am jokingly trying to scold them.

next time when he says 'hey! Sawyer' u reply back 'Shelly, u can call me Shelly'
