Yep, it's all alcohol, but the alcohol comes from different sources. Like grain, grapes, different fermented fruits, even potato. It's the source of the alcohol & sugars that don't mix well. That's where the dehydration & headaches come from. The best way to mix your drinks is to go slow & drink a glass of water between each one. cheers :)

Its because in different alcoholic drinks the alcohol is absorbed and processed by the body at different rates

you can get dehydrated and you can also get very bad headaches! its all the different ingredients in the alcohol...but its better if you mix alcoholic drinks with non-alcoholic drinks!

You can mix your drinks and you can drink them, but you have to be aware of the consequences. After all, it's your choice what you want to drink, how much you want to drink and where you want to drink. If you drink a lot of anything it might be harmful, but if you drink a small amount of anything it most probably won't affect you much at all.

It's not so that you mix different alcohols, it's WHAT you mix it with, how much and how fast you consume them, as well as what state your body is in when consumed.
