In theological circles that is known as the "gap theory" of interpretation. According to that theory this is a gap of unknown duration between the events in the first two verses of the book of Genesis.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was (hāyāh) without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
hāyāh - A verb meaning to exist, to be, to become, to happen, to come to pass, to be done.
The difficulty with that theory lies in the incidents mentioned in the later verses where the sun and the moon are said to have been put into place in proximity to the earth. That having been said, the book of Genesis was not intended as a scientific or historical text book although there are historical and scientific facts in it. The purpose of the book is to let us know that we have been created by God, that we are separated from Him by our sins, and that He has a plan to redeem us to Himself.

How about this ?
There is a gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2.
There was a Pre - Adamic Race on Earth lead by Lucifer. When he fell with 1/3 of the angles, life on Earth as it had been was destroyed. We do not know how many Millions of years went by before God Re - Made The Earth as we now know it.

this would not recommend that “the Bible isn't actually real.” this is rather real the place this is meant to be actually real, figurative the place this is meant to be figurative, poetic the place is meant to be poetic, etc. hence, we ought to study the extensive variety of biblical writing employing good judgment, contextual diagnosis, etc. Do i've got self assurance that God created the earth in the order this is defined in financial disaster a million of Genesis? sure I do. Now, to the issue of the age of the earth. there is very various talk and debate approximately this in the Christian Church. Very godly Christians who're somewhat knowledgeable stay on the two sides of the issue. in my view, i do no longer think the earth is hundreds of thousands of years previous, yet i've got self assurance this is older than 10,000 years. as quickly as I study this in extra intensity, i'll grant a extra useful answer later. yet for now, this is the place I stand.

Genesis clearly states that God created the Earth on the first day, dinosaurs on the 5th day and man on the sixth day.
Dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible. See Job.

I think if the dinosaurs lived on an earth that was destroyed before this one, that we would not be finding fossils of them here on this one. They would've been distroyed along with that old world so I don't think that's what happened. Who's to say that they served no godly purpose? They were probably an essential part of evolution that without them we probably would somehow not be who we are today.

You can speculate anything you want to....proving it is something else entirely.
Since there is overwhelming evidence that the world is billions of years old, and life evolved slowly over time that refutes the first chapter of Genesis.
There is also overwhelming scientific and archeological evidence that most of the event in the OT never happened, and most of the people (Abraham, Moses, David,Solomon etc) never existed
As I said at the beginning, you are free to "believe" and "speculate" all you want....show me the evidence of your beliefs if you expect me to agree with you.

when God breathed life into man it was so that man would have a soul and be of Gods image ,animals do not have souls.
I do not see what is so hard to believe that God created Dinosaurs before man, and if so He had a purpose for them whatever it was and they were possibly destroyed before man was created.

Your pitch is an adventure in fantasyland. The distinguishing mark of humanity is the ability to use logic to reach valid conclusions, but it is acquired skill and obviously you haven't yet acquired it. But there may be hope for you: study geology, paleontology, and anthropology, and you may yet understand how the world came to be, and that god had nothing to do with it.

You can invent a thousand different fantasies and cling to them if you like-no evidence to support them makes them no more credible than any fairy tale.
