Personally I wouldn't touch Ibuprofen, but anyway the best person to ask is the chemist. They are allowed to discuss medication these days. Also ALWAYS read that little leaflet in any box of medication you get prescribed or off the shelf.

Metronidazole acts on bacterial DNA replication, ibuprofen is antiinflammatory. Since they both act on totally different targets, it should be fine.

yes you can. ibruprofen is a anti-inflammatory and metronizadole is a antibiotic. you can also take ibuprofen with paracetomal, co-codamol, codydramol. you should not take ibuprofen if you have asthma or a stomach ulcer.

As far as I know, as long as your meds dont contain another *phen then u should be OK, but best to check - call NHS DIRECT if you need an answer before the morning
