i agree.
there are plenty of nasty illegal drugs, that people abuse and put added strain on the health services,
just because alcohol is legal, it doesn't stop it being as destructive and an equally abused drug.

i heard the other day that alcohol will b getting health-warnings, but the alcohol companies r busy finding ways 2 stop it.

i'd rather b trapped in a lift with some1 with a bad case of tourettes than an alcoholic!

It depends on just what sort of job you're doing. If you're flipping burgers at McDonalds you face minor burns and the wrath of your manager for dropping food on the floor or screwing up someone's order. If you're a neurosurgeon or a pilot you face the loss of your license due to a malpractice suit, not to mention the possibility of killing people and otherwise ruining the lives of others.

"Drunks are a lot less careless"? That statement shows that you can't control a keyboard. How can you hope to hold down a job without making stupid mistakes that can cost the company money or worse? Being drunk on the job is bad, true enough. But an inexperienced stoner can be just as bad. I smoked for 30 years and made a lot of stupid mistakes, but was lucky enough that the damage I caused was minimal - mainly because I'm one of the rare ones who can usually (though not always) maintain while stoned. But I know I would have done a far better job (and made more money, received more promotions, gone much further, etc) had I decided to not be a stoner.

I quit two years ago and am quite happy being clean & sober now. I hope you can make an intelligent choice now, and avoid making the same stupid mistakes I did.

I can see your argument and agree that milder cannabis is okay. However, I disagree that skunk is harmless after seeing so many kids on the estate where I live get screwed up by smoking Skunk. It is so much stronger and the sad part is that people smoking cannot see what it does to them - the lethargy, short term memory loss etc. I dont know how long you've smoked it for but after a couple of years it may happen to you too. My daughter smoked Skunk - as she said it 'was just a couple of joints in the evening to help me wind down'. I saw her go from being a bright and hyper girl into someone who just couldnt be bothered. She held down her job I agree but her attitude at times was crap. She then gave it up to have a baby and even she admits that she didnt see how bad it had got her. Just be careful heh ????? xx

it relies upon upon only what form of job you're doing. in case you're flipping burgers at McDonalds you face minor burns and the wrath of your supervisor for dropping food on the floor or screwing up everyone's order. in case you're a neurosurgeon or a pilot you face the lack of your license through a malpractice circulate nicely with, to no longer point out the prospect of killing human beings and in any different case ruining the lives of others. "Drunks are plenty much less careless"? That fact shows which you only won't be able to administration a keyboard. how are you able to wish to maintain down a job without making stupid blunders which could value the corporation money or worse? Being below the impression of alcohol on the job is risky, real adequate. even if an green stoner can be only as undesirable. I smoked for 30 years and made extremely countless stupid blunders, yet substitute into as quickly as fortunate adequate that the wear and tear I led to was minimum - generally when you consider that i'm between the main uncommon ones who can customarily (nonetheless no longer continuously) save whilst stoned. even if i be attentive to i could have achieved a a strategies bigger job (and made further money, have been given extra suitable promotions, long previous plenty extra suitable, etc) had I decided to now no longer be a stoner. I supply up 2 years in the past and am extremely mushy being soft & sober now. i'm hoping which you may make an clever decision now, and steer clean of making the equivalent stupid blunders I did.

No not at all. I have smoked it for years and always held a job down. I even got through the last two years of school without nicking off, but that might be because I was too stoned to walk out by the time I got there!

I think no. I think it is dumb to be able to drink legally than to smoke skunk as you call it. There are no know acts where just skunk was involved where people have been killed by that person but many for people who have been drinking and it is still legal to drink which tells people it is ok to get out there and drink and kill people because they have not put a stop to it.

You may be able to hold a job, but i doubt you would be able to progress into anything further. i used to smoke it, and i found myself forgetting everything, and generally really slow. i had no motivation to put 110% into what i do. its fine if you're only smoking it once in a blue moon, but on a daily or weekly basis just slows you down.

smoking can effect people in many different ways, paranoia, schizophrenia, loved up, aggressive behavior. my advice is only smoke when you have nothing to do that day or the next. you may not think it effects you when you are working but beleve me you get more done in a shorter space of time when you dont.

What a job stacking shelves in Tesco's? You druggie tree hugging p.ricks make me sick. Get a proper job, stop bumming around. Stop trying to justify taking drugs, its bad enough with the media around Kate Moss. Thats right, gets caught snorting coke, but still keeps her high flying job, if u can call it that.
