Our male cat is a bin-raider. I blame it on the fact that he lived rough as a feral kitten and was surviving on whatever he could find in rubbish bins when we adopted him. I think some old habits die-hard. I have a stainless steel pedal bin, yet I have woken on several mornings to find the contents of the bin on the floor, because he was after an empty bacon wrapper or the fat that was trimmed off some meat. Ideally I would have preferred to put the bin inside a cupboard, but I don't have enough storage space for that, so I have resorted to putting something heavy on top of the bin so that he cannot push it over when I am not around. Alternatively, if I am throwing out meat or bones, then I try to put the rubbish out straight away, so that he doesn't get tempted by the smell. So far, these things seem to be working.

Put down a big bowl of water. Expect it to conk out for a while and then take a long drink. This happened with a friend of mine who was taking THC during chemotherapy. Her dog got into the pills and ate a whole bottle. From what I hear, the dog was a riot. It tried to walk but couldn't figure out to flip its paws forward after a step, so it would walk a couple of steps on the backs of it paws before falling over. Then its eyes would just roll around in its head. The dog recovered after sleeping it off.

Um, beer is not the answer. Obviously it wasn't for you......
The cat should go to a vet, and be honest w/the vet so they can better treat your cat.
I'm guessing the baggie contained marijuana, some cats are attracted to that. But it can be harmful to them.
If it was anything else (coke, heroin, dust, etc) get ur azz moving and get that poor cat to a vet, and again, BE HONEST about what was injested

Why don't you find something better to do than ask stupid questions online. You can't possibly think that alcohol is safe for any animal. If you really have a problem with your cat, talk to your vet.

Take it to the vet, you idiot! Are you going to abuse your own cat? Or are you going to just feed it the beer you got drunk on? You are a sick person.
