You must be 20/20 correctable vision. Yes you can wear contacts.

Glasses are not allowed due to the possible reflection they may give.

Also it isn't just a bullseye at a 1,000 meters... Try placing 3 shots inside a dime from that distance.

Ooh-Rah!

Wearing glasses/contacts is not an automatic disqualifier for being a sniper. The hard part about being a sniper is that you have to be Recon first, and that is no easy task.

There are tactical disadvantages that must be taken into consideration with glasses or contacts. Contacts require a certain amount of care, and needing to take a critical shot is not the time for it to slip on your eye, dry out, etc. On the other hand, glasses are just an invitation to reflection that can tip off the enemy that you are their.

When taking the shot, the glasses can come off, because your will be able to adjust the focus of your optics, making the glasses unnecessary, although this creates additional movement and an oppurtunity to tip off the target.

I am 90% sure you can wear contacts, and possibly glasses. All they want is to make sure you have 20/20 vision already or your vision can somehow be corrected to 20/20 .

I would say it doesn't matter. The question is can you hit a bulls eye
from 1000 yards?
