What more can I do!???
I am trying to secure a very promising position within a new dental practice. Two days ago I had my interview, which I thought went rather well, the same evening I sent a thankyou email back to the interviewer, and still no call back for job... Should I send another email Irriterating I am extremely interested in this job, or just let it slide??? Sooo Discouraging, getting very very frustrated with the whole job hunt thing!!

Would like to note that the job was accessed thru email as well as interview set up thru email. We had conversed so many times there that I did not deem it to be inappropriate this time. I do understand what you are saying that in regards to a regular interview. Thanks for the help guys, keep it coming!!!

just wait for a little while longer, if you still don't get a call back go to another dental office for an interview.

An email is so impersonal, and can be simply ignored.

If I really wanted that job, I would call and ask to speak to the person who interviewed you.

Once you have the person on the line, tell them that you are following up on the interview and ask if there is any more info that they would like you to provide. You can also ask if the position has been filled as yet.

There is nothing wrong with inquiring about the results of the interview or if the position has been filled. Just always be courteous and polite. Don't ever " burn any bridges" (as they say) by leaving them upset with you for any reason.

Hope this helps.

I would also suggest that using "spell check" on your resume and all correspondence would be a good idea. The job market is very competitive and spelling mistakes can mean an automatic toss in the trash.

If you sent a thank you email then don't send another one. That will make you look desperate.
