The people that are on the streets are American-some of them are Immigrants- 9 out of 10 are people that were born in the United States-we should help our own people, than we will be able to help others-we have money to send to other countries to help them but none to help the homeless here in America-the street have Immigrants on them because that is what you want to see-look a little harder and maybe you will see someone you know that is homeless

I don't believe that stopping immigration is going solve the homeless problem in the US. Alot of people are homeless because they have mental problems and are unaware of it and so they don't receive help and end up becoming a non-productive member of society. And then theres other people that choose to be homeless because they are too lazy to get out there and do what they have to do to have any kind of stability. The majority of immigrants come to North America because they want to make a better life for themselves and their families, not to take another persons job. If an person born in America is overlooked for a job that an person who has immigrated receives, that person needs to blame themselves for not have the required skills or being prepared enough to present themselves properly and professional to that employer.

no... I just think that you can not help those who can not or do not want to be helped. Also, I think more focus needs to be placed on the illegal imigrants. Tighten the borders so we have more control and awareness of who is in our country.
Don't get me wrong , not all homeless people are the same but unfortunately we live in a society that keeps people down and forces the lower class to be dishonest and learn how to work the system. Ex. my in-laws (good hard working people that encountered health problems) couldn't afford the $150.00 per month meds they needed. The government wouldn't covet them b/c it wasn't enough. They had to request from the doctor other drugs for foolish things to increase their amount and now rather then the gov. paying the $150.00, THEY PAY OVER $300.00 PER MONTH. What are their options?

Charity begins at home... so yes it would be a good thing to fix the homeless and jobless citizens (or those who want to be fixed first)... I think they'll be willing to do illegal's jobs for the same price.
Once all the poor citizens are not poor (and it turns out you have a surplus of jobs) then by all means let the immigrants come in.

YES are homeless need homes, food and insurance before a immigrant gets it. They have a government that they can go to. If their government does not help them I'm SORRY but that is not our problem! They need to stand together and fight for their rights in their own country.

We could lower the number of legal immigrants and also patrol our borders a little better. Then yes, we should focus on our neighborhoods and communities to lessen the number of homeless. Poverty is never a battle that you win. Just we look for periods of peace, never permanent peace.

Yes! America needs to fix the drug problems and mental disorder problems that plague the homeless people.
There are 12 - 20 million illegal aliens here now. Why does America need more legal or illegal aliens in the country?! The U.S has too many illegal aliens now and still they won't pick the crops! The CHEATERS AND GREEDY are ruining it for the "LEGAL" immigrants to come to America!

Remember, alot of legal immigrants bring money into our economy and creation of employment for us by opening businesses here. Immigration has nothing to do with the homeless.

Huh? What the heck does immigration have to do with homelessness?
The vast majority of homeless people in the US are US citizens who were born here. Stopping immigration isn't going to do anything to get them off the street...

Immigration as a whole does not need to stop. Legal immigrants have sponsors and /or jobs and do not constitute a drain on taxpayer funded resources or add to homelessness.Illegal immigration is the culprit and by all means should be stopped.
