Hi, I don't adhere to a religion or organized faith simply because I respectfully reject the psychological authority inherent in them. I find it to be divisive and destructive.
My personal belief is summed up this way.
Live in the moment
Love and kindness to others
Pay Attention
God is Peace.
I also believe that there are many ways to realize God. Unlike most religious people, I see the prophets and sages as signposts pointing the way rather than destinations. But a good person is a good person irregardless of faith or lack thereof and has a place in heaven based on right actions in life and not adherence to a particular dogma.

I've done the research and proven to myself the Bible is a book of truth.
It has many detractors, but those detractors have one thing in common:
they've never done the research.
In any arena, when the bible speaks it speaks truthfully.
Take any field of science, history, law, etc. and you find the Bible states what is accurate.
Therefore, studying that book (as opposed to listening to false religion) provides a basis of belief.

I believe what I believe because based upon the wisdom and knowledge I have accumulated in my life I have found what works for me. obviously what I believe may not work for anyone else, but in this case I am concerned by a selfish motive. I will respect others free will and rights to believe as they want as long as they respect my free will to do the same. as long as none of us deliberately violate the laws rules mores of the Country in which we reside.

Because it is my will. Hence: I belive what I believe because I will make a "reality" of this/my life. In order to do that I have to form a system of beliefs.

Because a human is made to know and accept Christ as their Savior. That is why so many people come on R/S because they are really wanting to Accept Christ. They want the truth. They try to dispute the truth, but God is knocking on the door to their heart.

Sure it does :)
I don't "believe" in anything -- I make choices in my life based on evidence and logic, which don't require belief. I'm a sceptic. If there's no evidence for something, then believing in it is illogical and a waste of time. Show me proof and I might "accept" that the evidence indicates it is true, but there's no belief involved.
