I have highlighted and dyed my hair too many times. So recently I decided to just dye it back to its natural color. The problem is the dye is fading off my hair so my roots that are coming in are dark brown and my hair has some green tint to it. Not to mention the facts that the ends are all split up and everything else is frizzy. The only way it looks halfway decent is when i take a straightener to it and I know that isnt good for it. Im so frustrated but im kinda scared to go to a hairstylist because they will chop it all off to my ears! Can anyone help me with my green frizzy split up hair?

Hot oil massages: Warm 2 tsp. of olive oil and 2 tsp. coconut oil and gently massage every part of the scalp for 10-15 minutes. Rinse a towel in hot water, wipe and wind the hair around the head as it cools. Repeat 2 or 3 times to issue total saturation. After that, shampoo and rinse well. It is good for brittle dry hair.

Hot Caster oil massage: Warm ½ cup of castor oil, massage into scalp and gently comb it. Bind the hair with hot towel on the head, wait for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse. As it is home made is so good to use for scanty hair.

Clove oil honey massage. Stir well ½ cup of green olive oil with 1 cup of liquid honey. Shake vigorously. Keep the mixture to settle for a day or two. Massage into the scalp and comb it not touching the scalp. After massaging cover hair with plastic shower cap. Make it air tight to let the heat penetrate, leave like that for 20 to 30 minutes. Then shampoo and rinse well. It is good for dark hair to keep it shining and lustrous.

Natural homemade Protein treatment: Beat 1 egg and add slowly 1 tsp of olive oil and 1 tsp of vinegar. Apply it on hair and keep for 10 to 15 minutes. Apply shampoo and rinse well. This is good for all type of hair.

oh oh me! I know how to help! lol.. so here it goes.. I know you said you didn't want to go to a hairstylist cuz they would cut your hair up to your ears.. but here's the catch.. tell them the length you want it cut and refuse to have it cut any shorter. about your colored hair I've been there and I just started dying and highlighting my hair again.. my natural hair color started coming in a reddish orangish brownish color which u can imagine wasnt pretty.. I went to a different local hairstylist told her about my problem and she cut my ahir shoulder length and highlighted it with a non chlorine dye... It wasn't a real blonde blonde either (she said that could be why my roots were coming in the color they was.. which is probably a factor for ur green hair) it was more of a light brown.. which made my ahir once again look frizzy.. sorry hun.. this is the only way I could fix mine.. shew.. Lord Bless us women for what we go and put our body / hair through to look good. lol... good luck hun.. sorry this happened to ya.. I know it's very stressful oh yeah another helpful tip.. try usuing Loreal Paris new vive pro color vive shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair thats dry.. it also helps when ur hair is drying out and splitting...

well i would suggest going to a stylish that does not know you. Have them "trim" you hair, and specifically say "trim". Just to get the split ends away. Then I would suggest wearing you hair up if you can see the roots. Do not straighten you hair. And just keep wearing you hair up until the green comes out. Good luck

I would take it to a professional.
i once got a really deep conditioning treatment for my frizzeled out hair. It was like $40 but worth it.
Make sure to cut off the split ends!! Don't be afraid to speak up it the hairstylist starts to cut it to much, remember, your paying them!
Try a dye withought chlorine. it's better for the hair.

if ur hair is on the longer side i would suggest giving it a major trim 3-5 inches it will look healthier that way. And about the color don't know sorry!
