Hi, thank you for this, may I add that there are an awful lot of people that were baptized as Christians and who do not mark this holy day of Christ by going to Mass or in the case of Protestants, do not go to service and this is so sad.
imagine it was your Mothers birthday and so you phone her and say, Hey Mum it`s your special day but I`m not that concerned instead I shall go out to feast and get drunk regardless of this special day, how devastating would this be on the Mother and yet it is done every Christmas to the Lord.

It isn't that hard to figure out that Christmas = Christ Mass

Regardless if what it means....it still is NOT the date of Christ's birth.
