Because if they asked people around them, they would get a biased answer. Like for instance, your friend who you know always cheats on every man she dated, asks your opinion about a guy that she cheated on 10 times and he did not know, your answer would be in spite of the fact that you know shes a cheater. Therefore people ask here and know that no one knows their past history or all that and hope to get a good answer.

Some ask deep questions because they know most of the time it is going to be controversial at the outset. And they thrive on seeing just how much of it they can stir up.
I suppose they are trying to get some insight into a subject they don't understand, but I am guessing.

Everyone wants their lives, thoughts and emotions to be justified. That's human nature. We want to be right! As far as the deep questions, I haven't seen many.

I like to know what others deep thoughts are, and the aninimity that this Forum provides gives folks the comfort to share what they might not face to face. For that reason, unless someones just being funny, I believe many here are being real and transparent, it's refreshing.

Deep people ask deep questions-what they expect from the answers is irrelevant.

You're kidding, right?
The category is 'Religion & Spirituality'.
Where else would one expect to find deep questions?
If answers are not justified, then its just opinion.
I don't need opinion, I need proofs and reasonings.

They are looking for answers or oppinons, or advise.
Hopefull they can take what is said and make a desicion on what is right. Because you cant blame what you do on some persons answer on the computer.
Always use your own brain and look into thing before doing them.

Because some people really believe that THEY have constructed the ultimate argument for or against something (altho it's clearly yet another repeated posting).
Make an outrageous comment, then demand absolute proof in any counter-argument.
sigh...yeah, I know, it sure does get boring from time to time
