Here's a thought, why don't you go study up on a few countries who's citizens really suffer. Here's one for you to get started on : Darfur. It's citizens are being slaughtered. Why do you feel that Mexico and it's citizens are suffering so badly when genocide is still going on in other countries? Maybe you should get out of the town you live in and find out what suffering really is.

They dont know a thing about it. Most of them think the immigrants came from the gutter, but that is not always the case. Some had really good worry-free life but they chose to come here for different reasons; If you see an immigrant, never think that person is not educated or anything bad, I have some very ordinary look people with great potential, that actually surprised me. They take some time to adjust in new culture, but that should not change your mind. Just think about going somewhere where you have to speak different language and live in lot different atmosphere....you will understand their struggle and you will appreciate these people. Never make fun of there accent as it the language they learned as adults...and it should be appreciate...( I dont care about illegal one...this is just for legal one)

Poverty is no excuse for breaking the law, I am more worried about our own poor, and the services they are taking away from our citizens, you can't go to a country and say I am poor so let me in, it doesn't work that way in any country. the only ones that get in that fast is if their life is in danger, or political asylum. That is what legal immigration is for. And it is the Mexican government that should be helping their own people, not shoving them off on us. And telling us to leave our borders open so more can come and destroy your country that is what they want, the rich in Mexico hate their own people they call the diseased infested people. So if you want to down grade anyone go to Mexico and tell them about it. How dare they come here and tell us we are here and if you don't like it to bad, and by the way while we are here school our children, pay our medical bills, give us jobs, and feed our children while you're at it, and give us food stamps in our childrens names, and give us enough to feed the adults also. They need to be deported, and fast and get in line.
P.S. O and for Pamela, the Mexicans also stoled the land from the Indians. Their home land is Mexico not the southland of the U. S. never was.

Sweetheart, it's not that they don't KNOW they just don't CARE! They sit back all fat & happy in the land their ancestors stole from the Native Americans and dare to call it their own. They have selective memory when it comes to their ancestors coming here unwanted, univited and also undocumented. They come directly down the line from people who DEPORTED the actual natives of the land to reservations where they still live today. They have the nerve to say they OWN the land when the only person who owns any land is God Himself. The citizen" of this country is here only by the grace of God - same as the new wave of immigrants - legal or illegal.

I've been out of the country and to numerous foreign countries. What's your point?
Most Americans have no problem with legal immigration.

it look that our united states of america have extra concern for unlawful immigrants and care much less approximately their own. if an unlawful immigrant flow to the welfare place of work say she's pregnant she'll get the help (without issue), yet whilst a citizen-tax payer flow to the scientific institution ask for a tylenol 3 their going to ask what coverage do you have they get issues without issue and their unlawful and we gained't get no longer something and we are electorate-tax payers

I think you are misunderstanding Americans.
We do not have to necessarily know much about the living conditions for immigrants in their home country, but most Americans are fed up with the illegal immigration, not legal immigration.
It has nothing to do with the living conditions where they came from.
It has to do with coming here and being a productive member of our society, legally!!!

Yeah yeah yeah...this is the Big Panhandle, that's all it is...
'standard of living' is enhanced by putting a roof over your own head. Mexico, as one example, is crying crocodile tears about their 'plight' these days...there may be poor people in Mexico, but it's not like they don't have the money to take care of people themselves anymore. It's called 'social responsibility', as between people, so between countries, too. Pay your own bills, feed your own kids, wipe your own ***, stuff like that. Also, a notion that the Catholic Church doesn't really care for, it's called 'if ya can't feed em, don't breed em', meaning if YOU can't support your kids, you sure as hell shouldn't have any more.

There's 6.5 billion people in the world, it's HIGH time people get a clue, and start planning more constructively for the future, be it in america or anywhere else. Also, there's poor people in america...
people walk right by em....

or the lives of the homeless.

I took the subway home last night after a glorious Thankgiving meal, and since it was raining, the subway was filled with homeless people. One elderly man had his pants rolled up since the bugs you get when you don't wash your pants were eating him alive from ankle to knee. What sort of life is that? I'm giving them a fish now and teaching them to fish later.
