Worship is basically... say, greeting them for the morning with a simple gesture that you have deemed necessary for appropriate worship, and also praying before bed. Or having an item like a hematite stone to remind you that, say, Loki is your personal god that you worship and you let people know it.
Acknowledgement is more difficult to explain, because you know there are higher-ups in the universe but you don't do much with that...

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Worship usually refers to specific acts of religious praise, honour, or devotion, typically directed to a supernatural being such as a god or goddess. It is the informal term in English for what sociologists of religion call cultus, the body of practices and traditions that correspond to theology.
To acknowledge something certainly is not worshiping it, I can acknowledge that there must be a street light at a danger intersection to protect people from harm, but I do not worship the street light for its function, I simply acknowledge that it has a function that is deemed necessary and good.

In my opinion, acknowledgment would be simply believing that something exists. To worship, you need to perform rituals that are governed by some sort of guidelines based on the belief system. It's the act of ceremony that makes worship.

The difference, to me, between worshiping God & just acknowledging Him can be compared with human relationships. I can just acknowledge your existance & say, yes, I believe you are 'alive', 'there' or whatever but I can ignore you most of the time except to occassionally admit that you are still alive. Or, I can get to know you, appreciate you & let you know that I appreciate you and admire your abilities and respect you & your abilities etc. With God, I have a personal and communal relationship with Him. He knows that I love Him above all creation, for I believe He created creation. I love my neighbor as myself for He made us for love but within His guidelines which have been worked out for our optimum good if followed. I adore Him and try to follow His teachings but am sometimes weak in my human form. The old expression, "the soul (heart) is willing but the flesh is weak). I have had personal experience when prayer to Him has greatly helped me to make wise decisions which I could not have carried out if I only used my own weak dicipline. I have other experiences where I KNOW He touched my life with help, assistance or knowledge I needed at the time for optimum results. Hope I have helped with my answer.

ok then tell me Why to worship IDOL ? what's the difference between IDOL worship & God worship ? As you needless to say pronounced, IDOL worship isn't a God worship by utilising differentiating them... So, you're accepting that IDOL worship is mindless.... I Worship God by utilising calling "Oh my god, supply me a peace of ideas and help me to regulate the subjects" without declaring any God call... I on no account connect my palms to worship God, I on no account stick to any faith's techniques.. yet nevertheless I do worship in my heart which itself is adequate i think of... because of the fact God isn't someplace outdoors to locate or discover...

Worshiping is that you practise their teachings, and acknowledging is that you know they're there; or in a sense believe in their exsistence, but don't follow their teachings.

Like take a pagan deity...Thor, Norse God of Thunder. We name Thursday after him, but we don't bow down in a temple or kill a goat for his blessing. Its a level of personal commitment.
