From the clothes collectors that turn out to be companies and not charities? I have tried to trace a couple of them and they use bogus LTD company names that have either NEVER traded or ceased trading. I would urge you all not to give to these profiteers and give to bonafide charities instead

I only ever give to my local charity shop and if I need a sack I go down to the shop and they are very happy to give me one.

I never donate via the doorstep as:
a)you never know whos collecting it.
b)someone else could nick the bag.
c)you could even get wild animals ripping it apart and then making a mess for you to clean up.
d)another charity collecting could even steal a bag not ment for them (it has happend).

He may well have an old hat, but lets hope he doesn't give it to the wrong company eh? Give it to a charity. Rule to follow, if you haven't heard of them, don't give to them.
