It really does sounds serious, and could be something life-threatening, such as a pancreas attack, or intestinal blockage. Please get him to the vet as soon as possible.
You won't be sorry if you take him to be checked, but you sure may be sorry of you don't.

Something is wrong. Go to the vet. Even if you knew he had a temperature what would that help you? The dogs noses will be very dry and warm to the touch....The only true way to know is to use an anal thermometer

You can tell when a dog has a fever because some dogs will eat grass when they are sick but some dogs just are ttoo dumb so they eat it for fun.Maybe your dog is in pane but you just can't tell.some dogs are just twitch all the time but most aren't like that.

find a spot on his tummy that has less hair. i would take him to the vet if he's twitching though
