Bacteria in your mouth cause your breath to smell, and even a thorough cleaning at home sometimes can't fix that. See a dentist. They can thoroughly clean your mouth and should rid you of your problem. From then on, brush your teeth and floss religiously.

And yeah, that chick was rude.

you need to have a scale and clean done, everyone should have it done every 6 months, you cant see what is hiding under the gums and it is very hard and the dentist can only clean it off..also there are small pockets at the back of your mouth at the side and that can get yucky's in there, try opening your mouth and in between where your tonsiles are hanging and your last tooth there is soft gum's, push ur finger against it sometimes you can push them out if that is whats there, it smells nasty, not everybody has it, so good luck...

Make sure you're flossing daily and buy a tongue scraper and use it several times a day on your tongue every time after you eat. Floss, brush and scrape your tongue and then use mouthwash. You may need a mouthwash prescribed by your dentist as well.
