Please tell your parents!! If they care enough, which I would hope so, they will want to do whatever they can to help!! Talk to your doctor, too.
Part of not wanting to talk about it is a small sign of depression, but it sounds like you are on the right path. You have seen something isn't right, and chances are, your parents have seen it, too.
If you are in a situation where you don't feel you can talk to your parents, please find a trusted adult to help you get the help you need!!
Good luck!!

I know how you feel...Its not easy to just tell someone youre depressed without them making you feel uncomfortable. You could make an appointment with mental health and talk to a psychologist. You may get some anti-depressants. But youll also need self-help books or therapy. Theres a good book by David Burns called Feeling Good (Feels Great) by David Burns. That helped me and my parents didnt know.
But guess what? The antidepressants had side effects and work on and off. I wish I had known all along to try herbs. I researched the parts of the brain responsible for moods and interest. Those parts rely on DOPAMINE and SEROTONIN. Then Look for herbs that supply those hormones. ...Then I found Horny goat weed. I know it sounds funny, but its not just an aphrodisiac. I naturally restores those hormones you lack causing you to feel this way: tired all the time, loss of interest in activities, negative outlook and hopeless. For the first time, I was able to feel like everyone else. And yeah, it even restored my sex life. Contact me if you need to. If you dont want this particular herb, I'll research some other natural remedies that have mood enhansers like vitamin B-12. But this worked wonders for me with no side effects and you may take as much as you need.

I don't know how old you are but some state if you go to you doctor and tell them what is going on inside of you they can't tell your parents but if you tell them you want to hurt you or anyone else that have to tell them and the law. And then your doctor will help you see someone for the depression. And if your not old enough then you could talk to someone at school but again they may tell you parents so age has a lot to do with it . So check that out first. and then look for places in your town or state you would look under mental health. and you could even call one of them and talk but before you say anything ask if they will talk to anyone about what you say. Now about helping yourself you need to look inside and find what made you the way your to day. and face it head on. But doing that you could really hurt yourself . I'm telling you this and trying to help because I was you as a kid and I am 31 and I'm not all better but I'm better. So please get the help you need. Something made you feel this way.

Well, it is difficult to get help without involving your parents, I know this from experience. But if you keep hiding it from them, all you will accomplish is pushing them so far away that you will be completely isolated from your main support system.
That, my dear, is when you will get to experience what true depression is!
I have isolated myself so completely that, not only do my parents know I have severe clinical depression going on 10+ years now, but they just do not care. I am in my 30s and I'm guessing you are younger than that. Tell me, do you really want to see yourself at 30-something, resenting your parents for not caring, because you wanted to keep your sadness a secret?
Besides, the symptoms of serious depression are so similar to those of addictive drug use, they will eventually be forced to come to their own conclusions. Would you rather tell them you are depressed, or flip out while desperately trying to convince them you are not on herion?

What kind of parents do you have that don't see these things going on in your life. They must be blind or totally oblivious to you. Seek professional help ASAP. If you are truly having suicidal ideations you should seek help as soon as possible. Do not try herbal remedies, these are only for milder forms of depression. Just curious, why not involve your parents. They may already know of your problems but don't know what to do to help. You should all work at this together as a family.

I don't know how old you are or what your gender is...that doesn't matter.
DO TELL YOUR PARENTS how you've been feeling!!! There is help and treatment for depression. It can include talk therapy with a counselor, seeing a psychiatrist, taking anti-depressants (only if absolutely necessary).
My point is TELL YOUR PARENTS and DON'T DO ANYTHING TO YOURSELF!!
I've only typed in caps to emphasize things.

Well if your under age and/or you live with your parents then getting help will be impossible. You should want someone to know so they can help you get better. Being alone may be what you want but you really need a support system.

Why don't you want to tell your parents? In most cases they are the best help or if you have a good friend, you can tell them.
Why don't you want to seek medical assistance?
You can email me if you want to talk to someone.
