Why is every question on this forum greeted with hatred and anger? Christians hate Muslims and Atheists and each other, Muslims hate Christians and atheists and each other, atheists hate everyone, agnostics hate everyone...
Religion deserves spirited, well-informed debate, not hate-speech spewed by everyone that answers a question.
So, my question to you is this: Is hatred and anger the norm in all Religion?

No but it is a major tenet of evil, especially those who are seeking to destroy peoples lives by setting them at odds with each other and keeping them at odds with each other.
You won't find everybody attacking everybody else, only the foolish who secularize and trivialize religion and spirituality. They will use peoples sense of politeness against them by claiming they have been offended in some way; but If you pay close attention you will find they are the ones with the issues.
Some of us are here to genuinely share knowledge; learning about different perspectives that we may be better people: Others just get off on causing problems and interestingly resemble demons as described by the Christians; notice they can be found claiming to be any religion.
Hmm, it's food for thought isn't it, makes one wonder where such a concept came from? Yes, I think demon is an excellent term for such people; look at the harm they do.
Be at peace and don't let them pull you in, pay them no heed and know that only fools mock wisdom, and only the most evil seek to destroy it. If you try to call them on it they fit very well the description of the wicked in the Christian's book of Proverbs of their Bible; truly they do despise wisdom and so they come here in order to destroy your growth and the growth of everyone seeking the truth. I don't believe in a devil, but demons are many and often they come in the flesh.

No, hate is not a tenet of most religions. The hate part usually comes from the people who try to sell folks on their religion being the only way and have to whip up a frenzy to get support.

Well, it's a major tenent of Humanity.
"Religion deserves spirited, well-informed debate, not hate-speech spewed by everyone that answers a question."
I guess I could go with that.
See, nothing hate-filled. I haven't flamed you. This is just a quick answer to your question and I haven't called you anything.

There are some religions that teach their followers that theirs is the only "true" religion, and that everyone else's is false. It can create a real feeling of superiority in someone who believes. It's sad.
Also, P.S., it's "tenet".

If a religion revolves around Love instead of Deed it will inevitably lead to hatred as love and hate are opposite emotions.

It's the norm whenever any of us are dominated by our ego/human thought system where our specialness and identity become defined and attached to beliefs and concepts. This happens not only with religion and politics, but with ANYTHING.

You seem to be very general
There are many religious folks here who do not project hate; only a few do this...but as they say, one bad apple can spoil the whole basket.
