Those that die, perhaps it was an act of mercy on God's part? Perhaps He was taking them out of this world bc of a situation that would arise later on. Someone mentioned a helicopter crash---what if he had survived but was an invalid? Not a great life, so perhaps God was protecting him from that?

There have been many miracles bc God is AWESOME!

One of the best was we thought we would sell our house. We didn't know why, we just wanted to move closer to our church which was 45 min away. We prayed, 'Ok God--if you want this to sell we are going on faith and putting it on the market.' We went to a realtor and an elderly woman(probably around 80) was in there and overheard us. She asked us how much we wanted and we blew her off thinking she was crazy...lol. Anyway, we told the realtor we wanted to 'check' around with other realtors and every other one we went to we either didn't like them or something got between us. So we go back. We put it on the market and to shorten the story---it sold in less than 22 hrs and it was that woman sitting there. We have a manufactored home which are hard to finance and she was elderly to boot. Come to find out she paid cash and at the signing she said she 'had no idea why she was buying this house and if we wanted to buy it back, let her know'! It was put back on the market after a year and is still for sale. We found a house that was perfect exactly where we wanted to live and was closed and in it within 31 days.

Another one---my nephew was born a year ago and my brother calls me from the hospital saying he wasn't going to make it. The doctors said he was having seizures, not breathing and his brain wasn't active. I called everyone I knew and pleaded for them to just pray. Well my brother called me all day and each day the news was better--he was stable, he was being shipped to a better hospital, he was breathing on his own...and in one week, he went home. God is good...all the time! All the time...God is good!

God is awesome. But I think we have to be careful about the word "miracle" lest we cheapen it. Yes, there are everyday blessings in most people's lives. And God often winks at us when amazing coincidences just seem to happen.

But miracles for the most part come, I think, pretty rarely. God allows us to design the flow of our own lives, and because of that, isn't buying us those tennis shoes we want, or making us complete that forty yard pass. Every once in a while, something really is a miracle. But let us be thankful rather for the everyday blessings, instead, for those are so abundant.

God is FICTION. I agree Miracles do happen but I don't think anyone in particular is behind them.

None and 6 million children still die of starvation in the world every year, so I guess God must be out of miracles.

I was at work the other day and was about to respond to my negative perceptions about my co-worker in an email he sent but then decided to get my ego out of the way. I called him and the same negative patterns took a back seat as I received a new perception of him. It was amazing and very satisfying.

Wow, there is almost too much to name. Helped me through all my hard times, keeps me safe, gives me all my necessities, makes everything work out in the end even though I dont think it's right at the time, but later I find out it is right. He gives me strength, gave me a good family........the list goes on. :)
