Like what title would you give her? A cousin or something? Our family culture calls them 2nd cousins. Is that the term used in America too? Or is it something different?

Just kidding. You're second cousins once removed. But like someone pointed out, just saying you're cousins will work unless the person you're talking to is insufferably nosy.

Second cousin is the correct term. The father's cousin's daughter's daughter would be your third cousin, etc., etc.
