I feel like I'm a bad owner due to the darn dogs getting all my attention ans she and I miss our time together and we I go in my room she is purring and happy and stuff and I just want to cry and say "fumiko I'm staying here all day tomorrow". I can't because I need the money for the holidays. I'm crying as I type this cause I know she is lonely.

Cats are not really that demanding as dogs but it's very sweet of you to care for a feline's feelings.

I think Jood has the right idea. My cats don't want "attention" all day or night. They have their little habits and we all get close at least once a day (individual cats with me). Some are "bed" cats, some are "TV" cats, some are "reading" cats - they all get some time to be with me every day. It doesn't have to be a long stretch of time.

Fumiko sounds pretty happy and just spend as much time each day with her as you can.

Don't wait until you feel so bad that you have to spend the whole night with your cat. Set aside a good half hour where you can play and pet her once a night. My cats love to snuggle up when I watch tv. If you really don't have time for her maybe consider getting her another cat to play with. I have 2 and it is great!

Give your dog some scheduled "crate time". It will establish your dominance over the dog, and it will give you and Fumiko some private, uninterrupted face time.

Spend as much time as you want with your cat. I am sure she is as lonely for you as you are for her. Dogs do tend to demand attention.

Your cat wants your food and the warmth and comfort your house provides. Please don't have any delusions that it loves you, your tears and distress are only confusing it.
