The Lards prayer
The Lard is my shortening; I shall not want
It maketh me a pie of the flaky layers; it leadeth me to fry hostess Twinkies, It melts quick on flame low
It leadeth me on the path of deep frying cause it tastes great.
Yea though I walk through the store full of trans fats and snacks, I will fear no oil for the pork is with me; Thy smell and thy taste they comfort me.
I prepareth a table of food in the presence of my family: We had chicken and home cooked fries; my mouth runneth over.
Surely good food and low carbs will follow me all the days of my life: and I will cook using pork fat forever.

Nope - at least pork fat has more flavor than any other edible thing on this Earth. I'd stick with it and just cry out Praise the Lard and fry it up.

I am from the South and NEVER HEARD SOMETHING SO RIDICULOUS AS WORSHIPING PORK FAT, EATING IT FRIED YES, WORSHIP PING NOOOOOOO. WHY would anyone worship it? Pigs are not saints, angels, etc. Please find a new church that follows the Bible more closely.!!! Have them show you why they worship Pig fat, if you then believe, stay there. If not, move on, there are many worthy churches, of all denominations. Personally, I worship God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit; that's just me though. I never heard of a church worshipping pig, but I do know there is a church that worships cows. It is bad anyhow because God tells us not to worship (EXODUS 20:3-5)anything than him. Yes, I would change your church if I was you. If you study the Bible in the Old Testament; they worshipped different things{molten calf, trees, the sun, the moon and etc} to provoke the Lord to anger.

You can find most of things in sources like encyclopedias, history, etc. that tell you it's pagan or that it comes from pagan origin.
If we look up pagan in the 1984 New Concise Webster's Dictionary; it says "a heathen, one having no religious beliefs."

The unclean animals were considered to be unclean because of diseases that they carried. If you see a pig; it eats the slop of the earth.
