I have a redbone and when ever she pees she always rolls in it. Is that something coonhounds do or is my dog just weird? This is the first time I've had a redbone so, I don't know much about her.

No hounds in general are sent driven animals. What she is doing is pretty much adding a sweet smelling perfume to her coat! Although it's not so sweet to us. This way if another dog is in the area he would be attracted to her. This might be a heat thing....is she fixed? That might help cut down on the pee rolling if not I would say contact your local vet!

Dog noses are different from human noses. Pee is like perfume. She wants to smell good to other dogs. I saw a neatly groomed poodle roll in the horse poop left after a parade, too.

All dogs do, it covers their scent, and also shows a state of dominance.
